Where is The University Club Located?

Situated just eight minutes drive from the Perth CBD on the banks of the Swan River, The University Club is located on campus at The University of Western Australia on Hackett Drive in Crawley (Hackett Entrance 1).






Where Can Guests Park?


Short term (3-hour) parking is available on a 'pay and display' basis in University Car Park 3 which is located immediately adjacent to the Club. The cost is $1.30 per hour to a maximum of $3.90.

Full day parking is available on a 'pay and display' basis in Car Park 23 (corner Hackett Drive and Mounts Bay Road), and along the University side of Hackett Drive.  This is charged at $1.00 per hour to a maximum of $8.00. Public parking is indicated by a red "P" on the map below.
 
Car parking is free of charge in all University car parks after 5pm weekdays and all day on weekends. 

Yellow student bays (indicated by a yellow "P" on the map below) are free of charge outside of term time only - should you park in this area during term time, you will risk a fine. 

 

Conference organisers can reserve parking bays for their delegates at a cost of $12.00 per bay. Limited reserved parking is available in the undercroft area beneath the Club with additional reserved parking available in Car Park 3 (immediately adjacent to the Club). Please note that this will be on-charged to the main conference account. Delegates cannot pay individually for these bays on the day.
 
A minimum of 10 guests is required in order to reserve bays and bays must be reserved at least one week prior to the date of your event.
 
Reserved bays in the undercroft will be clearly marked with an orange parking cone and reserved sign. Reserved bays in Car Park 3 will be clearly marked with an orange parking cone
and guests must obtain a blue parking permit from the attendant on duty and display this permit on their dashboard in order to avoid being issued an infringment.
 
Please be aware that Unipark will issue infringements to Members and guests who do not abide by The University Parking By-Laws and Regulations.

Is there another way to get to the Club?

The Club is easily reached by public transport. It is also a pleasant walk or cycle from nearby suburbs. The attached UWA Travelsmart Guide will assist you in finding alternative means of transport if you wish to leave your car at home.
 
 
Is Internet Access Available at The Club?

The University Club features wireless internet technology in all rooms. Conference organisers and delegates can arrange internet access at a cost of $5.00 per half day (4 hours of online time) or $10.00 per full day (8 hours of online time). Alternatively, internet access for all delegates can be arranged in advance by the conference organiser for a set fee (TBA depending on number of delegates and duration of conference) which would be charged back to the master account.

What are The University Club's Hours of Operation?

The University Club is open from 7.30am to 7.30pm (Monday and Tuesday) and from 7.30am to 11.30pm (Wednesday to Saturday inclusive).  The Club is closed on Sunday.

Can We Host Functions Outside Operational Hours?

Our conference and events team assess requests on a case by case basis, depending on size of the function.
 
Deliveries
 
All goods must be delivered between 7.30am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) and must be clearly labelled with the Club's delivery notice.
 
The Club will only accept delivery of goods 24 hours prior to the event and all goods must be collected within 24 hours of the conclusion of the event.  Any items remaining after this time will be couriered back to the deliverer, the cost of which will be charged to your final invoice.
 
Who is Eligible to Book the Venues Within The University Club?

The University Club welcomes event enquiries and bookings from Club Members and corporate organisations. 
 
How Can I Become a Member?
 
University Membership
University employees and postgraduate students studying at the University of Western Australia are eligible to apply for University Membership.
 
Individual Membership
Alumni of the University of Western Australia are eligible for Individual Membership.
 
Associate Membership
The partner or spouse of either a University or Individual category member may join The University Club as an Associate Member.
 
Corporate Membership
Corporate organisations may join The University Club of Western Australia as a Corporate Member.
